Eletopia

Eletopia is a utopian society filled with only elephants. This is my society because elephants are the best and they deserve having the safety of their own world instead of being poached and attacked by other predators. Elephants have been mistreated since the beginning of time. Poachers have been poaching elephants mainly to attain their ivory tusks. They use the tusks to make billiard balls, piano keys, trading, and many other things. They are harmless herbivores, but have been eaten by other hungry carnivores too often. They are taken into circus's and suffer poor treatment and abuse. Eletopia will be a society made only for elephants. They will be able to live peacefully with each other. They won't have to worry about predators or hunters. Because they are herbivores, they will be able to survive on their own with no other creatures bothering them. They will live all over the world and have access to plenty of food and water wherever they plan to reside. Elephants will have complete control over every aspect of their lives in Eletopia. Eletopia's motto is "Union. Discipline. Travail" as seen on the image of the Eletopian seal. The olive branches surrounding the elephant on the seal represent the peace they experience in Eletopia. Eletopia's motto is "Union. Discipline. Travail" as seen on the image of the Eletopian seal. The olive branches surrounding the elephant on the seal represent the peace they experience in Eletopia. Quite obviously, an elephant is the symbol of Eletopia. The elephant is a very caring, intelligent, and gregarious creature. Eletopian Rules 1. All must act as one family. There should be an undoubted unity in Eletopia. 2. All must obey their elders who have more experience and can, therefore, provide better judgement. 3. All must have a job and travail. There shall be no lazy elephant. 4. All must respect one another. This will keep the peace in Eletopia. 5. One mustn't use its trunk or tusks as a weapon. There should be no acts of violence or malice by any elephant. 6. All must contribute to the well being of society by keeping a level head and encouraging other to do the same so nothing bad happens. 7. All must mate and reproduce in order to maintain the population of Eletopia. If the number of elephants drops, Eletopia will be shut down. 8. All must receive an education between the ages of 4-8 to ensure each elephant knows the basic ways of life and about their sad past of endangerment. 9. All must live in peace. This land was created for them so they should take full advantage of the serenity provided. 10. Any elephant who disobeys these rules will be exiled from Eletopia and shunned. Eletopia is governed by a hierarchical caste system. The top caste includes the "fathers." They are the older male elephants who have more experience with life. Whenever there is a problem involves intense thinking to solve, the fathers are the ones to turn to. The next caste includes the "mothers." The mothers are the older female elephants who are turned to for organization and nurturing. Elephants in need of love and care turn to the mother elephants. The third caste holds all the adult elephants in Eletopia. The babies and children are in the bottom caste. Fellow elephants, This Eletopian society is the best and safest place for us all to reside. There are no threats from humans or other predators here. You can roam freely through the dense forests or the wide open fields; whichever you prefer. The water holes here are elaborate and the water tastes out of this world. You will never run out of food or fun at Eletopia! February 26, I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning to go to work. I was working in the city so i had to take the Eleway and walk through Elehattan to get to my building. It was a tough day in the office; I only got 10 minutes to eat my lunch! I would much rather work from home, but it is nice to go into the office from time to time and catch up with my colleagues. Although I was eager to get home, I decided to take my time and pass through Elephant Square before heading home on the Eleway. Thankfully, I don't have work tomorrow! February 27, 2015 Today was an absolutely beautiful day in Eletopia. The sun was shining and the temperature was just right. Being a Friday, my friends and I didn't have work. (In Eletopia, we only work Monday-Thursday). We decided to spend the day on the most amazing lake, Lake Sedara. First, we took out speed boats and jet skis. Then, we decided to do an array of water sports! We rode water skis, wake boards, tubed, and just relaxed with our pina coladas in hand. Water skiing was by far my favorite, and I was the best at it! The day was so much fun but so exhausting. I couldn't wait to get home and see what what my mom had made for dinner. I was almost too tired to eat so I knocked out right after dinner! February 28, 2015 Saturdays are days set aside for household chores and worship completed by each and every elephant in Eletopia. The mornings are spent cleaning the house from top to bottom and preparing a meal for the family to sit and enjoy together. Cleaning is not my favorite, but I sure do enjoy the food! After dinner, all us elephants gather around the waterhole to worship. We are joined together in one circle by holding on to each other's tails with our trunks. Worship lasts until sundown. Finally, we all go home and end the night with individual meditation and an early bed time. 6:00 am: Mama and Papa elephant wake up first and they begin getting ready for the day ahead of them. They shower and prepare breakfast for the children. 7:00 am: The children are woken up and sit down for the family breakfast. Marissa and Mark take their own showers, get their things together for school, and get on their way to school. Papa is now on his way to work and Mama stays home. 8:00 am - 11:00 pm: The school day for Marissa and Marc begins at this time. Papa arrives at work by 8:30 in Elehattan. Mama is at home cleaning up from breakfast and cleaning the house. 12:00 pm: Mama, Papa, Mark, and Marissa all take a break now to eat lunch and Mark and Marissa get a recess period in school. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Marissa and Mark finish up their school day while Papa completes several meetings at work. Mama begins preparing for the family's dinner. 4:00 pm: Marissa and Mark begin their homework, at their mom's request of course, and then tidy up their rooms. Papa begins his commute home, but it takes awhile because it's rush hour. 5:00 pm: Papa finally arrives home and the children are finishing up their homework. 6:00 pm: They all sit down together for family dinner and talk about their days. They clean up together afterwards. 7:00 pm: Mama, Papa, Marissa, and Mark sit down together to watch TV and relax in each other's company. 8:00 pm: They all gather around the warm fire (in winter) or on the front porch (in the spring) to do their nightly prayers and bond as a family with God. 9:00 pm: The family eats a little dessert and they all prepare for bed. They all get into bed and do something to calm them down. 10:00 pm: It is lights out in the house. The family goes to sleep to prepare for another day.
