6:00 am: Mama and Papa elephant wake up first and they begin getting ready for the day ahead of them. They shower and prepare breakfast for the children. 7:00 am: The children are woken up and sit down for the family breakfast. Marissa and Mark take their own showers, get their things together for school, and get on their way to school. Papa is now on his way to work and Mama stays home. 8:00 am - 11:00 pm: The school day for Marissa and Marc begins at this time. Papa arrives at work by 8:30 in Elehattan. Mama is at home cleaning up from breakfast and cleaning the house. 12:00 pm: Mama, Papa, Mark, and Marissa all take a break now to eat lunch and Mark and Marissa get a recess period in school. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Marissa and Mark finish up their school day while Papa completes several meetings at work. Mama begins preparing for the family's dinner. 4:00 pm: Marissa and Mark begin their homework, at their mom's request of course, and then tidy up their rooms. Papa begins his commute home, but it takes awhile because it's rush hour. 5:00 pm: Papa finally arrives home and the children are finishing up their homework. 6:00 pm: They all sit down together for family dinner and talk about their days. They clean up together afterwards. 7:00 pm: Mama, Papa, Marissa, and Mark sit down together to watch TV and relax in each other's company. 8:00 pm: They all gather around the warm fire (in winter) or on the front porch (in the spring) to do their nightly prayers and bond as a family with God. 9:00 pm: The family eats a little dessert and they all prepare for bed. They all get into bed and do something to calm them down. 10:00 pm: It is lights out in the house. The family goes to sleep to prepare for another day.
